Dinner Conversation with SAIS Professor of American Foreign Policy Michael Mandelbaum

The dinner will be held in a private room. There will be a three course set menu for £40 per person. The London SAIS Alumni will ask for a deposit after you have RSVP'd and before they are able to confirm your attendance.

Professor Mandelbaum earned a PhD in political science from Harvard University, and was educated at Yale University and King’s College, Cambridge, where he was an Ehrman Scholar.  He has held teaching posts at Harvard and Columbia Universities, as well as the United States Naval Academy.  Among other positions, he sits on the Board of Directors of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, on the Editorial Board of The American Interest, and has been published widely on American Foreign Policy, including his 2011 collaboration with Thomas Friedman, That Used to Be Us: How America Fell Behind in the World It Invented and How We Can Come Back. His latest book is Mission Failure: America and the World in the Post-Cold War Era.
